A sense of porpoise…

Chanonry Point (just a half hour bus journey from Bazpackers along the Black Isle) is one of the best places in the UK to spot Bottlenose dolphins from the shore. Check the tide times before you go and make sure to bring binoculars or a telephoto lens!

Craig Phadrig

A short hike west of Inverness will take you up the forest trails of Craig Phadrig, eventually revealing spectacular views of Ben Wyvis and the Beauly firth from the site of the ancient Pictish hill fort at the summit. Keep an eye out for deer and birds of prey!
