The People

We believe that people are what what really make a difference and at Bazpackers we always have a great mix of friendly international staff as well as guests. The staff change from time to time but are always travellers at heart and we usually have a good range of languages and cultures behind the reception desk.

Showers / Bathrooms

Our stainless steel showers (hot water 24 hours a day) have received rave reviews since we installed them a couple of years ago and in total we have seven showers / toilets at a ratio of less than 1:6 per bed. These are divided into a large shower room and four individual shower / toilet rooms.

Lounge / Kitchen

At the heart of Bazpackers is the original, hand carved, 19th century fireplace with real fire that forms the central focus of the common area. This is a great place to relax, chat, read and meet people from all over the world. We also have a separate TV area with DVDs, games and a bookshelf. The self catering kitchen has all you need to prepare and store your food, with several fridges, microwave and large range cooker. The kitchen common room area is closed from 2300 to 0730 am.

Laundry + Internet

There is free wi-fi throught the building. Laundry and the use of a computer are  available  for a small charge.

Security

Although Inverness is a very safe place we take security seriously. All rooms are lockable and we provide secure lockers in all shared rooms (free padlocks available). We have a 24 hour staff presence and after midnight the front door is locked and a door code system gives 24 hour access.
